Students will need their band polos, black compression shirt (or black T-Shirt), marching shoes and long black socks this week!

2:00-6:00 p.m. Blue & Gold pick-up 

6:15 p.m. Full Band call time for pep rally. We will perform the national anthem, march the opener and ballad and play stand tunes. It will take place on the practice turf field. Students are to wear band polo, black shorts, black marching shoes and LONG BLACK SOCKS. 

Friday 9/6 

7:00 a.m. Full Band (Stadium)

3:30 p.m. Normal game day procedures. For new students and freshman: you do NOT leave school Friday. Immediately following 7th hour you report to the band room, change into your black shirt, black shorts, black marching shoes and LONG BLACK SOCKS. Then all students report to stretch block on the parking lot for rehearsal. This rehearsal will include front ensemble (this is also new). If you are not on the meal plan you may have food brought to you at 5:15 p.m. you may NOT leave campus for any reason! Students will get third quarter off and may get snacks/food/drinks from the concessions stands. 

Saturday 9/7 

Palen Percussion Preview (Percussion and soloists only) 

Arrive dressed in band polo, black shorts, black marching shoes and LONG BLACK SOCKS. 

9:00 a.m. Rehearsal 

10:00 a.m. Load

10:30 a.m. Depart for Deer Creek HS 

10: 45 a.m. unload/ warm up

12:00 p.m. clinic 

12:30 p.m. load 

1:15 p.m. arrive back to PCN/ Unload

 

- turn in handbook sign off forms and instrument check our sheets ASAP. They are now late. 
- Spring trip agreement, contract, and behavior contract due Friday by 5:00 p.m. please turn in paperwork WITH deposit!

8:45 a.m. music rehearsal inside- national anthem, fight song, stand tunes, show 

Thursday 8/29 stadium 
7:00 a.m. Full Band- cleaning Opener and ballad- no met 
5:00-8:30 p.m. Percussion Rehearsal- yes 5:00 p.m. in preparation for Palen since we won’t get a Thursday night rehearsal next week.
