Big Week! Two Performances!

*Meal Plan info: If you signed up for the meal plan but have not paid you must pay before Thursday to eat. Students that are not on the meal plan are still required to stay for our after school rehearsal and eat in the lower commons with the rest of the band. Food may be brought at 4:15 p.m.

*The following students need to make up the concert band audition #1 ASAP. See Mr. Romano to setup a time:
Hailee Laster, Malachi Campbell, Trinity Richardson, Aysia Bruner, Gracey Bengston

*If you have not turned in your handbook sign-off and instrument check-out forms please do so tomorrow! Those start going in for grades tonight!

*We will use All Props Tuesday a.m./p.m., Wednesday a.m.

*Prop Assignments:
Back Drop Bases: Drumline (one per member)
Yellow Rings: Flutes/Clarinets bring out to rehearsal, Low reeds put away after rehearsal
Tarps: All brass 
Staircase: Drum Majors

Monday 8/27 (Backfield)
7:00 a.m. Full Band 
6:00 p.m. Call time for Community Pep Rally
Dressed in: Band Polo, Black Shorts, Black Marching Shoes, LONG Black Socks)! 
EVERYONE NEEDS THEIR WATER JUG, IT WILL BE HOT!

Tuesday 8/28 (Backfield)
7:00 a.m. Full Band 
6:00 p.m. Full Band (Starting on parking lot, moving to backfield)

Wednesday 8/29 (Backfield)
7:00 a.m. Full Band

Thursday 8/29 (Backfield)
7:00 a.m. Full Band (Must have white shirt to march halls)
3:45 p.m. Normal Game Day Procedures
Stretch block in ALL BLACK- Black shorts, Solid plain black shirt, black marching shoes, long black socks 
(IF JACKETS ARE COMING OFF ON THURSDAY EVENING EVERYONE MUST BE IN A PLAIN SOLID BLACK T SHIRT)

Friday 8/30 (Parking Lot)
1:00-5:00 p.m. Learning Ballad/Drum Break Drill- to be performed at game two Friday 9/7 
Everyone must have their water jug, sunscreen, athletic wear
NOT A REHEARSAL TO MISS!

Call time is in place and ready to practice on the backfield at 9 am.

Reminders....
Students, meals today are provided for ALL students. We will have Subway deluxe sandwiches and hamburgers/cheeseburgers this evening

...

Come to school prepared.....long black socks with absolutely no white, black compression gear or shorts/shirt, marching shoes, instrument and whatever else you need

Bring extra deodorant....we were quite fragrant yesterday. You will need deodorant throughout the day, please

Thank you to all of the parent volunteers that made band camp registration run smoothly this year. We could not do it without you!

Band camp starts tomorrow! Woo! BE ON TIME! We start AT 7:00 a.m. Walking in the door at 7:01 will not be acceptable!

Lunch is from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Students may leave for lunch, or stay in the band room. The choice is theirs.

*SENIORS* PLEASE PLAN ON A MANDATORY LUNCH WITH THE DIRECTORS AND STAFF TOMORROW! (Lunch will be provided for you)!

Students- please be sure to bring:
1. A large water bottle. Thermos or large jug. YOU MAY NOT SHARE WATER. gross.
2. A hat, sunglasses, SUNSCREEN.
3. Wear light colored clothing.
4. Wear socks and tennis shoes. NO SANDALS, FLIP-FLOPS, CONVERSE, or VANS.
5. Show music, instrument.
6. A great attitude, and a positive work ethic.
